How to Apply Location Filters while searching in Kadal Content Manager
This article explains how to use location filters in Kadal Content Manager to narrow down search results based on the location of documents and assets. By applying these filters, users can efficiently locate specific items within their personal folders, starred items, or the shared repository.

Log in to Kadal Content Manager.

Click on the Search icon to expand the search bar.

Enter your search term in the search bar. This initiates a search across all content in Kadal Content Manager.

Click on the Filter icon to refine your search results using location filters:
- Anywhere: This option searches across all sections in Kadal Content Manager, including documents and assets stored in every location.
- Starred: This filter restricts the search to only those items that have been starred by the user, making it easier to access frequently used resources.
- My Folder: This option searches exclusively within the user’s personal folder, allowing them to find content they have specifically organized.
- Repository: This filter searches within the shared repository, providing access to documents and assets available to all users.

Review the filtered search results displayed by Kadal Content Manager, which will include documents and assets matching your search term within the selected location.
