We are pleased to announce the latest update to KadalAI, introducing new features, interface improvements, and key fixes to enhance usability and performance.
Key Features
Support to add multiple files in conversations
- Now users can add multiple files during Chat conversations
- Using the “Attach” option, maximum of 5 files (each file size limit = 5Mb) can be attached from local
- Using the “Attach” option, a maximum of 5 files ( no size restriction) can be attached from the Repository
- The file types that can be added using “Attach” are - CSV, DOCX, XLSX, PDF, or TXT
- This is available in the conversational space in Threads and Agents
New LLM Models enabled
- New LLM Models are now enabled in Kadal.
- By default, the following will be available for all users -
- Gemini 2.0 Flash
- Gemini 2.0 Flash-Lite
- Llama Maverick
- Llama Scout
- The following models from OpenAI can be enabled in a tenant post approval for cost -
- GPT-4.1
- GPT-4.1 mini
- GPT-4.1 nano
Feedback for Threads (including the ability to add additional comments if user did not like the response)
- Ability to mark a response as “Good” or “Bad” is now available in Threads
- Choosing Thumbs down for a response will show additional options to add more details on the feedback.User can add details around why the feedback was not per expectation.
Ability to view latest updates without requiring clear cache/cookies post a release
- With this release, there will be no need to clear cache/cookies to view the latest updates.
- A refresh (if the application was already open) OR a relogin should work to show the latest changes.
- Incase Kadal is open in multiple tabs or browsers during an update:
- For multiple tabs in the same browser, refresh any one tab; the others will auto-refresh.
- For multiple browser windows, refresh each window individually
Defect Fixes
Several important fixes have been implemented in this release, including:
