We are pleased to announce the latest update to Kadal AI Workbench, introducing new features, interface improvements, and key fixes to enhance usability.
Key Features
Content Ingestion - Mistral OCR
- Mistral OCR has been added as an LLM model which can be used for Content Ingestion
- Docling is the default LLM of choice. However, for complex content which contains images/tables/math etc. Mistral can be used for processing. It allows for a more intelligent and efficient ingestion of unstructured data for AI applications, which results in efficient and more accurate results in conversations.
- Note :
- This is on-demand. You can place a request with kadalsupport to enable the model for your tenant.
- Mistral support will be available for ingestion of pdf, docx and pptx files with limitations (1000 pages/slides and 50mb size)]. For other types, Docling will be continued.
New LLM Models Enabled
- The following models are now enabled on UI and can be requested for the tenant via kadalsupport -
- GPT 5
- GPT 5 Nano
- GPT 5 Mini
- Open AI O3
Attach Images during Chat conversations
- You can now add images (from local) or Repository in chat conversations using the “Attach” option
- File count and size limits apply during upload from local ie. max 5 files and upto 4mb each
- Image types supported are - jpeg, jpg, png, bmp, gif
- Queries like summarising, key extracts etc can be generated from the attached images
Tenant notifications to Stakeholders and Tenant Admin
- Tenant Admins and Stakeholders will receive an email notification when the allocated Tokens for a tenant approach defined thresholds OR when the Subscription end date for the Tenant is approaching.
- This will alert them to the current usage and also, they can request for token increase / end date extension with kadalsupport based on future plans
- 2 emails will be generated. The 1st email will include the Tenant Admin and the Stakeholders defined during tenant creation. The 2nd email will include these users + defined people from management to be notified
- When allocated tokens exhaust, content upload/create will fail processing and AI conversations cannot be initiated. If the Subscription end date exceeds, then users cannot login to the tenant.
Superadmin : Ability to replace Tenant Admin for a Tenant
- As a Superadmin, an ability for them to replace the assigned Tenant Admin will now be available
- There are cases wherein the Tenant Admin has left the organization or someone else has to be made the tenant admin. This was earlier not possible. Now this will be doable.
- Replacement can be done by a complete new user OR an existing user can also be added as a Tenant Admin.
