Using a Single Login Across Multiple Tenants in Kadal
Kadal supports Multitenancy, allowing users to access multiple tenants using a single email ID or username. This feature enables seamless switching between tenants without the need for multiple accounts or repeated logins.
- Accessing Kadal
- You can log in using:
- Email and Password, or
- Google SSO (if enabled for your tenant)
- If you belong to one tenant, you're logged in directly.
- If you're part of multiple tenants:
- You will land on your default tenant's dashboard.
- If you're logging in from a tenant-specific URL, you'll land in that tenant.
- You can log in using:
- Switching Between Tenants
- Kadal provides an in-app Tenant Switcher so you can:
- View all tenants associated with your email
- Switch to another tenant without logging out
- When you switch:
- The application reloads to reflect tenant-specific data
- Your permissions and access update based on your role in that tenant
- Kadal provides an in-app Tenant Switcher so you can:
- Data Isolation & Security
- Each tenant’s data is isolated
- There’s no cross-tenant data visibility
Note: Your role can differ across tenants (e.g., Admin in one, Viewer in another. You can only see and perform actions relevant to the currently selected tenant. Permissions are strictly scoped and isolated per tenant
