How to Save Revisions in Kadal Content Manager?
Kadal Content Manager allows you to save named revisions of your document, helping you keep track of significant changes or versions throughout the development process. This feature is useful for maintaining a record of progress and for restoring past versions if needed.
-
In the toolbar, click on the Revision History dropdown.
-
Select the Save Current Revision option.
-
Enter a name for the revision that reflects its significance (e.g., "Final Draft").
-
On each save, the current revision is updated instead of creating a new one.
Notes:
- When collaborators make changes to the document, the changes are saved within the same revision, and the revision history displays the names of collaborators and their updates.
- A new revision is automatically saved every 15 minutes to ensure periodic snapshots of progress.
- If a user intentionally names a new revision, a separate entry is created in the revision history.
