This article explains how math equations are handled when exporting documents from Kadal Content Manager in Word (.docx) and PDF formats. You can now retain MathML and LaTeX content during export, ensuring accurate formatting for sharing or editing.
How Math Equations Are Exported
- In Word (.docx):
- MathML equations are exported as editable content.
- LaTeX equations are exported as images.
- In PDF:
- Both MathML and LaTeX equations are exported as images.
Note: Use Word export for editable math content, and PDF for layout-preserved, print-ready versions.
Steps to Export with Math
- Ensure the document containing equations is open in the Editor.
- In the toolbar, click the Export icon.
- Select either Word (.docx) or PDF as your export format.
- The document, including any equations, will be converted and downloaded to your device.
Behavior During Export
Once you initiate an export, the selected export option (Word or PDF) will be temporarily disabled to prevent multiple clicks. It will be re-enabled once the export is complete.
