AI Buddy in Kadal CMS can help you easily generate math equations—whether you're working on a lesson, writing documentation, or exploring concepts. When your prompt includes a math-related query, AI Buddy supports both LaTeX and MathML formats, and displays the equations in a clean, easy-to-read format right within the chat panel.
- Open Your Document
- Open the document where you want to write a prompt. The AI tab will automatically appear on the right panel.
- Access AI Buddy
- Use the AI tab on the right panel to interact with AI Buddy.
- You can chat with the AI models by entering a prompt in the input bar.
- Write an Effective Prompt
- Enter a prompt that clearly outlines your instructions to use MathML or LaTeX. Provide details such as the task, context, or specific content you want AI Buddy to generate.
- Attach Files
- If additional context is needed, click the attach icon in the input bar to upload a file. Maximum 5 files each up to 5 MB in size.
- Review Content
- After entering your prompt, click Submit.
- Review the AI Buddy’s response. If satisfied, you can copy the response and insert it into your document.
- Like or dislike the response to provide feedback.
- Paste the Equation into Your Document
- After copying the equation, simply paste it into your Rich Text Document using Ctrl + V or right-click → Paste.
- The equation will look just like one created with the editor’s built-in equation tool.
- The rest of your document layout stays intact.
Note: Some LLM models may not render MathML or LaTeX correctly by default. If you notice the math formatting breaking or showing incorrectly, try including a clear instruction in your prompt—for example: “Display the response using MathML format.” This helps ensure better rendering, especially with complex equations.
