How to Associate Metadata with Documents in Kadal Content Manager?
This article outlines how users can align existing metadata to their documents in Kadal Content Manager. Proper metadata association enhances document organization and searchability.
- Open the document.
- In the document editor, click Metadata on the title bar.
- The metadata panel will open on the right side.
- Here, you will see any metadata associated with the document, if available.
- To find and align existing metadata, click on the Find and Align Metadata bar, which will provide a list of existing metadata in Kadal Content Manager.
- You can search for specific metadata or browse through the list and select the desired metadata node.
- Upon selecting the metadata node, it gets added to your document. Depending on the metadata format, you may need to provide a value.
- Alternatively, users with the required permission can create new metadata.
