How to Use Threads in Kadal
The Threads feature allows users to interact seamlessly with the platform through conversational chat threads. Threads make it easy to manage interactions and access conversation history.
Steps:
- Log in to Kadal.
- Upon logging in, navigate to the Threads page.
- This page displays a chat thread where you can begin interacting with Kadal.
- Use the input bar at the bottom of the thread to start your interaction.
- The default model is GPT, but you can change it to other available models, like Gemini or Claude for varied responses.
- If needed, you can click the Attach icon to attach files for additional context or analysis. You can upload a file from your computer or import one from the repository.
Note: Users can upload one file per prompt, up to 5 MB in size, in these formats: CSV, DOCX, XLSX, PDF, or TXT.
- Click Submit or press Enter to send your message.
- Kadal will respond to your message within the thread.
- Review the agent’s response. You can:
- Copy the response.
- Like or dislike the response to provide feedback.
- On the Sidebar, view the history of your current and past threads. Kadal automatically saves your conversations with a default name, which appears in the sidebar.
- Hover over a thread to reveal the vertical ellipsis icon.
- Click the ellipsis to open the action menu, where you can:
- Rename: Rename the thread for easier identification.
- Delete: Delete the thread if it is no longer needed.
