How to Delete an Agent in Kadal
If an agent is no longer needed or requires permanent removal, Kadal allows you to delete it directly from the Drafts or Published section. Deleting an agent is useful when:
- The agent is outdated or no longer relevant.
- A replacement agent has been created with improved functionality.
- The agent contains incorrect configurations that cannot be easily modifiedOnce deleted, the agent cannot be recovered, so ensure you no longer need it before proceeding.
Steps:
- Locate the Agent
- Navigate to either the Drafts or Published section, depending on where the agent is saved.
- Find the agent you want to delete.
- Open the Options Menu
- On the agent card, locate the More Options menu (3 dots).
- Click the menu to reveal available actions.
- Select and Confirm Deletion
- Click Delete from the dropdown list.
- A confirmation prompt will appear, warning that this action is permanent.
- Click Confirm to delete the agent.
Best Practices:
- Review Before Deleting – Ensure the agent is not needed for future use.
- Backup Important Agents – If necessary, save key configurations before deletion.
- Use Unpublish Instead – If you might need the agent later, consider unpublishing instead of deleting.
