How to Use the Media Services Tool
Our AI-powered media tool enables seamless processing of audio and video files, helping users extract valuable insights such as transcriptions, descriptions, metadata, and thumbnails. Whether you need accurate text from an interview, a concise summary of a podcast, or video thumbnails for preview, this tool automates the process efficiently.
Steps:
- Upload Your Media File

- Click on "Media Services" to access the tool.
- Under Input Settings, click “+ Upload Audio or Video” to add your media file.
- Supported formats: MP3, WAV, MP4, MPEG, WEBM (Max size: 20MB).

- Select the Processing Service Type
Choose one or more of the following services based on your requirements:

- Transcription (Audio & Video) – Converts audio content into text format.
- Description (Audio & Video) – Generates an AI-powered summary of the content.
- Metadata (Audio & Video) – Extracts key details such as duration, format, and other media properties.
- Thumbnails (Video Only) – Automatically generates video preview images at different timestamps.

Note: If you select "Description," an Advanced Setting option appears, allowing you to choose the length:

- Short (100 words) – A concise summary.
- Medium (250 words) – A balanced overview.
- Detailed (500 words) – A comprehensive description.

3. Generate & Retrieve Results

- Click "Generate" to process the media file.
- The system will return results based on your selected service type.
Understanding the Output
- Transcription (Audio & Video)
- Provides a text-based version of spoken content with timestamps for easy reference.
- Useful for accessibility, content repurposing, and searchability.
- Description (Audio & Video)
- AI-generated summary based on the selected length (short, medium, or detailed).
- Helps users quickly understand the media content without playing it.
- Metadata (Audio & Video)
- Extracts technical details such as file format, duration, codec type, bitrate, and sample rate.
- Useful for organizing and managing media assets efficiently.
- Thumbnails (Video Only)
- Generates preview images from different timestamps in the video.
- It can be used for video covers, previews, and social media posts.
Exporting & Downloading Results
- Copy Results: Use the clipboard icon on the right-hand side of each panel.
- Batch Download: Download all results in a zipped file for convenience.
- Individual Thumbnail Download: For videos, you can download each thumbnail separately.
Best Practice:
- Use High-Quality Audio/Video: Clear sound and visuals improve transcription accuracy and thumbnail quality.
- Select the Right Service Type: Choose relevant options (transcription, metadata, description, thumbnail) based on the media’s purpose.
- Adjust Description Length: If generating a description, select an appropriate length (short, medium, or lengthy) to suit the content format.
- Verify Metadata Tags: Ensure auto-generated metadata aligns with the actual content for accurate categorization and searchability.
- Manually Review Thumbnails: AI-generated thumbnails may not always capture key frames; choose the most visually relevant option if needed.
