How to Delete Files and Folders in Kadal
To maintain an organized Knowledge Base, users may need to delete outdated or unnecessary files and folders. The Delete function in Kadal allows you to remove items permanently, ensuring that only relevant and up-to-date content remains accessible.
Steps:
- Locate the Item
- Navigate to the Knowledge Base where the file or folder is stored.
- Browse or use the search function to find the specific item.
- Open the Delete Option
- Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the file or folder.
- From the dropdown options, select "Delete."
- Confirm Deletion
- A confirmation prompt will appear to prevent accidental deletions.
- Click "Confirm" to permanently remove the file or folder.
Important Notes
- Deletion is Permanent – Once deleted, files and folders cannot be recovered. Ensure you no longer need the item before confirming.
- Check Folder Contents – If deleting a folder, ensure it does not contain essential files, as all contents will be removed.
