How to Use Threads in Kadal Content Manager
The Threads feature allows users to interact seamlessly with the platform through conversational chat threads. Threads make it easy to manage interactions and access conversation history.
Steps:
- Log in to Kadal.
- From the sidebar, navigate to the Threads page.
- This page displays a chat thread where you can begin interacting with Kadal.
- Use the input bar at the bottom of the thread to start your interaction.
- Attach Icon: Add files to the thread for additional context or analysis.
- Upload - Upload files from your computer
- Repository - Select files to be imported from the repository.
- Select Model: Choose a model from the available list, such as Gemini, Claude, Llama, or GPT.
- Attach Icon: Add files to the thread for additional context or analysis.
Note: Users can upload upto 5 files per prompt, each up to 5 MB in size, in these formats: CSV, DOCX, XLSX, PDF, MD, or TXT. Files with the status as ‘Processing’ or ‘Failed’ will be disabled for selection. Only ‘Processed’ files can be attached from the repository.
- Tools:
- Search in Kadal - to include curated knowledge from your repository.
- Web Search - to fetch information from the internet in real time.
- Input Field: Type your message or query.
- Click Submit or press Enter to send your message.
- Kadal will respond to your message within the thread.
- Review the agent’s response. You can:
- Copy the response.
- Like or dislike the response to provide feedback.
- On the Sidebar, view the history of your current and past threads.
- Organized into:
- Today – Threads from the current day.
- Yesterday – Threads from the previous day.
- Last 14 Days – Threads from the past two weeks.
- Past Conversations – Older threads beyond 14 days.
- Hover over a thread to reveal the vertical ellipsis icon.
- Click the ellipsis to open the action menu, where you can:
- Rename: Rename the thread for easier identification.
- Delete: Delete the thread if it is no longer needed.
- Organized into:
- To start a new thread, click New Chat button.
- To download the chat, click the more button(vertical ellipsis icon) and select Download Chat.
