How to Preview and Edit Assets in Kadal Content Manager
This article provides guidance on previewing and editing assets in Kadal Content Manager. You’ll learn how to access asset details, make edits, and apply accessibility features, all within a user-friendly interface that auto-saves your changes.

Log in to Kadal Content Manager using your credentials.

Select the resource you want to preview. This action will open the asset in a new browser tab, allowing you to view its content.

In the new tab, locate the details panel on the right side. Here, you’ll find key information about the asset, such as:
- File Name
- File Size
- Usage Information
- Description
- Location
- Creator and Last Modified details, including the user’s name and timestamp
- Additional information depending on the file type

To replace the file, use the option provided in the details panel to upload a new version.

Users can type in the “Description” field in the details panel to update the asset description.

Add any accessibility information, such as closed captions (CC text) or alternative text, in the details panel.
Note: Adding accessibility features makes content more inclusive for all users.

All edits, including description and accessibility updates, are auto-saved. Review the details panel to ensure your changes have been applied.
