How to Create a New Assignment in Kadal Content Manager
This article walks you through the steps to create a new assignment in Kadal. Assignments allow educators or team leads to structure tasks, set expectations, and collect submissions efficiently within a project or course.
Steps:
- Navigate to the Target Folder
- Go to My Folder or Repository where you want the assignment to be stored.
- Click the + New Button
- In the left sidebar, click + New.
- Select Assignment
- From the dropdown, choose Assignment to start with a blank canvas.
- New Assignment Opens in Editor
- A new tab opens with the default name Untitled Assignment.
- Rename the Assignment
- Click on the assignment title and type your preferred name.
- Add Content
- Use the editor to:
- Format text
- Insert images or tables
- Embed multimedia elements
- Use the editor to:
Tip: Use the AI Buddy for writing suggestions or content generation.
- Manage Assignment Location
- Once the assignment is saved, a Move icon appears next to the title. Use it to:
- View the assignment's current location
- Move it to another folder as needed
