How to Delete a Property in Kadal Content Manager
When a property is no longer relevant or in use, you can delete it from the Metadata Library to maintain a clean and organized metadata structure. However, deletion should be done cautiously, especially if the property is actively used across documents or assets.
Steps:
- Log in to Kadal Content Manager.
Note: The Metadata Governance section is only visible to users with valid permission assigned to their user role.
- Navigate to Metadata Governance:
- In the left navigation panel, click on Metadata Governance.
- Open Metadata Library:
- Inside Metadata Governance, click on the Metadata Library option.
- Switch to Property Tab:
- The Metadata Library page has two tabs at the top: Property and Statement.
- Make sure you're on the Property tab.
- Locate the Property to Delete
- Browse through the list of existing properties. Each entry displays:
- Name
- Alignment (number of associations)
- Status (Active or Inactive)
- Last Modified
