How to Disassociate Metadata in Kadal Content Manager
Over time, metadata (Properties and Statements) associated with documents, assets, or other objects may become outdated or irrelevant. Kadal Content Manager allows users with appropriate permissions to remove these associations easily.
Steps:
- Log in to Kadal Content Manager.
- Open the Metadata Panel
- Browse and locate the desired file.
- Hover over or select the object whose metadata you want to disassociate.
- Click on the vertical ellipsis (⋮) or open the more menu.
- Select Metadata from the options.
- Review Associated Metadata
- A panel will appear. You will see a list of currently associated Properties and Statements. Each entry shows:
- Code and Full Statement (for statements)
- Name and Value (for properties)
- A panel will appear. You will see a list of currently associated Properties and Statements. Each entry shows:
- Remove Metadata
- Hover over a metadata item.
- Click the Remove option.
- Confirm the action in the prompt to disassociate it.
- Auto-Save
- All changes are auto-saved as you go.
